Fashion Doll Crochet Furniture-Author unknown

i do not know who wrote this patter but it is very good ,i have made it once before ,i am going to start working on it again and this time i will take pictures
it is a good , simple pattern for barbie or brat furniture even has a tv.

SOFA
Matterials: Crochet Hook Size H
3 oz. Multi-color 4-ply yarn
2 - 6 oz. tuna or cat food cans with lids
Yarn needle
Stuffing

SEAT
Row 1: Ch 11, hdc in second ch from hook and next 8 chs, 5 hdc in
end ch, turn corner & continue crocheting on other side of chs, 8
hdc, 4 hdc in end ch, join, ch 1

Row 2: CROCHET ENTIRE SEAT IN BACK LOOP ONLY! *8 sc, 2 sc in each
of the next 5 sts. Repeat from*, join,/ch 2.

Row 3:*8 hdc, 2 dc in ea of the next 10 sts. Repeat from *, join, ch 3.

Row 4: *8 sc, dc in each of next 20 sts. Repeat from *, join, ch 3.

Row 5-7: dc in each st around. join, ch 3.

Row 8: hdc in each st around. join, ch 3.

Rows 9-11: dc in each other st around. Fill both cans a bit over-
flowing with stuffing & place inside seat, join, ch 3. Fasten off
after row 11.

BOTTOM RUFFLE
Folow same pattern as for bottom ruffle on chair.

Back-Make 2
Rows 1-4: Repeat rows 1-4 of seat (above).
Row 5: hdc in each st around. join, Fasten off.

Sc two pieces together halfways around. place lids and a little
stuffing on one side (inside) and sc around.

FANCY EDGE
Follow same pattern asfor fance edge on chair.

ARMS
Follow same pattern as for arms on chair.

Materials: Crochet Hook Size H
61/2 ox tuna or cat food can
3 1/2 X 5 1/2 piece of styrofoam from meat tray
or heavy cardboard
2 ox. light brown 4-ply yarn
yarn needle

BOTTOM
Row 1: Ch 5, join to form ring, 8sc in ring. Do not join, ch or turn-
work continuous rounds.
Row 2: 2 sc in ea st around (16 sc)
Row 3: 16 sc around
Row 4:2 sc in each st around. (32 sc)
Rows 5-6: 32 sc around
Row 7: crochet in back loop only-32 sc around.
Rows 8-13: 32 sc around. Fasten off after row 13. Fit snuggly over
bottom of can.

TOP
Row 1: ch 21, sc in second ch from hook & next 19 chs, ch1, turn.
Rows 2-12: crochet in back loop only-20 sc across, ch 1, turn.
Rows 13-24: crochet in both loops-20 sc across, ch 1, turn.

After row 24, fold piece in half and sc sides together with rows 2
thru 12 on top, includ8ng sc along golded side, leave one side open
& insert styrofoam piece inside then continue to sc closed. Center
over can and stitch together

Material: Crochet Hook Size H
2 ox multi-color 4ply yarn
6 1/2 oz tuna or cat food can with lid

CHAIR SEAT
Row 1: Ch 2, 7 sc in first ch, join, ch 2 (counts as first st next
row) (7 sc)
Row 2: CROCHET ENTIRE SEAT IN BACK LOOP ONLY! 2 hdc in each st around,
join, ch 3 (14 hdc)
Row 3: 2 dc in each st around, join, ch 2 (28 dc)
Row 4: hdc in each st around, join, ch 1 (28 hdc)
Rpw 5" Crochet in back two loops- 1 sc in next st around, join, ch 2.
Row 6: hdc in each st around, join, ch 3.
Rows 7-8: dc in each st around, join, ch 3,
Row 9: hdc in ea st around, join, ch 3.
Row 10: dc in every other st around, lightly stuff can & put it inside
seat, join, fasten off.

Bottom Ruffle
Attach yarn to loops on 9th row, ch 4, 4 trc in same place as ch 4,
skip 1 st, sc next st, *5 trc in next st (shell), skip 1 st, sc next
st.Repeat from * around, join, fasten off.

BACK-Make 2 pieces
Repeat rows 1-4 of seat. Fasten off after row 4 . sc pieces together
halfways, place lide and a bit of stuffing on one side only (inside),
and finish sc around.

Fancy Edge
Ch 3, 4 dc in same place as ch 3, sc in next st, *5 dc in ext st
(shell), sc in next st. Repeat from * around. Do not crochet in last
5 sts! (11 shells)Fasten off leaving a 6 in piece of yarn and stitch
back to seat.

ARMS
Row 1: Ch 5, sl st to form ring, ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join, ch 3.
Row 2: 4 dc in same place as ch3, sc next st, *5 dc in next st, sc
next st. Repeat from * 3 times (4 shells) Leave 4 sts not crocheted.
Fasten off leaving a 6 " piece of yarn. Stitch one shell of arm to
last row ofloops on back of chair & bottom of arm piece to loops
along edge of seat.

Materials: Crochet hook Size H
1 oz. multi-color 4 ply yarn
6 1/2 oz tuna or cat food can
Stuffing
Repeat same directions as for chair seat thru Row 11 and including
Bottom ruffle.

1 ox red 4-ply yarn

Row 1: Ch 12, sc in second ch from hook an next 9 schs, 3 sc in each
ch, turn corner & continue to crochet on other side chs, 9 sc, 2 sc
in end st, join, ch 1, turn
CROCHET ALL ROWS IN BACK LOOP ONLY
Row 2: 24 scaround, ch 1, turn
Row 3: *2 sc in each next 3 sts, 9 sc. Repeat from * once, join, ch
1. turn (30 sc)
Row 4: 30 sc around, ch 1, turn
Row 5: *2 sc in each of next 6 st, 9 sc. Repeat from * once, join,
ch 1, turn (42 sts)
Row 6: 42 sc around, ch 1, turn
Row 7: *2 sc in each of next 12 sts, 9 sc. Repeat from * once, join,

5" squar piece of styrofoam from meat try or heavy card-
board

Bottom
Row 1: Ch 5, join to form ring, ch 1, 8sc in ring. So not join, ch
or turn-work continuous rounds.
Row 2: 2 sc in each st around (16 sc)
Row 3: 16 sc around
Row 4: 2 sc in each st around (32 sc)
Row 5: 32 sc arond
Row 6: Crochet this row in back loop only. 32 sc around
Rows 7-25: 32 sc around. Fasten off after row 25.

The table must be taller than the chairs, so put the can in upside-
down (the open end on the bottom)and place enough stufrfing to fill
the top.

Table Top
Row 1: Ch 16, sc in second ch from hook & next 14 chs, ch 1, turn(15sc)
Rows 2-34:Crochet in back loop only-15 sc across,ch 1, turn

After row 34, continue to sc edges together, 3 sc on corners, sc along
fold, leave one side open & insert styrofoam piece, then sc closed.
Crocheting in back loop only, make one more row of sc around with 3
sc on corners, then fasten off.

Table Cloth Idea
A piece of red checkered cloth would look nice!

CHAIRS FOR KITCHEN TABLE
Materials: Crochet Hook Size H
4- single serving soup cans with lids
(I used pringles chip lids)
3 oz. Cream 4-ply yarn
1 oz. Red-ply yarn
Stuffing
Yarn needle

Seat
Follow same pattern as for table bottom on page 5, rows 1 thru 22( or
fewer rows to cover can.

Seat Cover
Row.1: With red yarn, ch 4(counts as first dc), 11 dc in first ch made,
join to top of beg ch 3, ch 1 (12 dc)
Row 2: Crochet in back loop only-2 sc in ea st around, join,ch 3.(24dc)
Row 3: 24 dc around. Fasten off.
Fill can with stuffing and stitch seat cover to seat.There are 32 st
in seat, only 24 in cover, so you'll need to "double up" the sts 8
times evenly around.

BACK
With cream yarn, repeat pattern for seat cover (above), rows 1 thru
3. Make two. With red yarn, sc pieces together with 2 sc in ea st
around. Fasten off leaving an 8 " piece of yarn to stitch back to
seat. Make 4 chairs.

3 buttons (with holes in back, not thru)

WASHER
Row 1: Ch 4 (counts as first dc), 11 dc in first ch, join, ch 3, (12dc)
CROCHET ENTIRE WASHING MACHINE IN BACK LOOP ONLY!
Row 2: dc in same place as ch 3, 2 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st,
*2 dc in each of next 2 sts, 3 dc in next st. Repeat from * twice.
Join, ch 3.
Row 3: dc in next 4 st, 3 dc in next st, *dc in next 6 sts, 3 dc in
next st. Repeat from * twice, dc in last st, join, ch 3.
Row 4: dc in next 5 sts, 5 dc in next st, * dc in next 8 sts, 5 dc
in next st. Repeat from * twice, dc in last 2 sts, join, ch 1.
Row 5: sc in ea st around, join, ch 3.
Rows 6-15:dc in ea st around, join, ch 3. Put box inside and cont.
Row 16: * 9 dc, decr next 3 sts into 1 dc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 5 sc, 1 hdc,
2 dc, decr next 3 sts into 1 dc. Repeat from * once, join ch 3.
Row 17:8 dc, *decr next 3 sts into 1 dc**, 6 dc. Repeat from * to
** once, join, ch 1
Row 18: sc in ea st around. Fasten off.

TOP with Knobs
Row 1: Ch 11, sc in second ch from hook, 8 sc, 5 sc in end st, 8 sc
4 sc in end st, join, ch 3.
Rows 2-3:dc in ea st around. Fasten off after row 3 leaving about
24" piece of yarn. Stuff & stitch to top of washer. Sew on three
buttons (with holes in the back instead of thru the button.)

Washer Lid
Repeat rows 1-3 of washer. Fasten off after row 3, leaving about
8" and stitch lid on washer along one side only, soit can open and
close!

DRYER
Materials: Crochet Hook Size H
3 ox. Gold 4-ply yarn
Kleenex Boutique tissue box
Stuffing
Yarn needle
2 buttons (with holes on back)
Needle & thread
Velcro

Dryer
Rows 1-5: Follow pattern for washing machine, rows 1-5
Rows 6-8:dc in ea st around, join, ch 3
Row 9: 24 dc, sl st in next 9 sts, dc in remaining 18 sts.Fasten off.
Row 10: attach yarn to row 9 on either side of the 9 sl sts just made,
ch 3.
Rows 11-12:dc around to other side-do not crochet over the 9 sl sts-
ch 3, turn.
Row 13: dc around to other side, ch 9, & join to first dc of this
row, ch 3.
Row 14: dc around-when you get to ch 9, dc in each ch, join, ch 3
Row 15: dc around. Fasten off. Place box inside.

Top
Rows 1-5: Follow pattern for washing machine, rows 1-5. Stitch top
to dryer. Follow pattern for washing machine top with Knobs. Only
sew on two button knows for dryer.

Door
Follow rows 1-3 of washer pattern. Cut the top, right side and
bottom open for a doorr, then stitch crocheted door to left side.
Sew on a small piece of velcro to keep door closed.

Materials: Crochet Hook Size H & F
3 oz White 4-ply yarn
small amount of black yarn
boutique tissue box
Stuffing, Yarn needle, Velcro
STOVE
Rows 1-15: Repeat pattern for dryer, rows 1-15.

Lid
Rows 1-5: Repeat pattern for washer, rows 1-5. Place box inside stove
and stitch top on around all four edges.

Top
Rows 1-3: Repeat pattern for washer top with knobs but do not sew on
any knobs.

Oven Door
Rows 1-5: Repeat rows 1-5 of washer. Fasten off. Cut the top and both
sides open for a door, sthen stitch crocheted door to bottom edge. Sew
a small piece of belcro to top to keep door closed.

Burners
Row 1:With black, ch 7, dc in first ch made, (ch 3., dc in first ch
made)3 times. ch 3, join to third ch of first ch 7.
Row 2: Ch1, *3 sc in ch 3 space, sc in dc. Repeat from * around. Fasten
off. Make 4 and place on top of range.

TELEVISION
Materials: Crochet Hook Size H
3 oz. brown 4-ply yarn
Botique tissue box
Yarn Needle
4" X 5" Cardboard & picture (Glue)

Row 1-15: Follow pattern for washer, rows 1-15.

Side
Rows 1-5: Follow pater for washer, rows 1-5. Place box inside and
stitch side along all four edges.

Front Frame
Pick one of tghe four long sides for the front.
Row 1: Ch 46, join to form ring, ch 3.
Row 2: 4 dc in same place as ch 3, dc in next 8 ch, 5 dc in next ch,
dc in next 13 chs, 5 dc i next ch, dc in next 8, 5 dc in next ch,
dc in next 13, join, ch 1.
Row 3: sc in each st around. Fasten off. Stitch all four edges to one
side of box.

Picture
Cut a 4" X 5" picture from a magazine or newspaper comics, glue to
cardboard and insert in front frame.

REFRIGERATOR
Materials: Crochet hook size H
4 oz. White 4-ply yarn
family size tissue box
Yarn needle and thread
Velcro, needle and thread
Sizzors, glue or tape, extra cardboard.
Long sides
Row 1: Ch 35, dc in4th ch from hook and next 14 chs, ch 3, turn(16dc)
Rows 2-20: 33 dc across, ch 3, turn. Fasten offafter row 20.

Short Sides
Row 1: Ch 18, dc i 4th ch from hook & next 14 chs, ch 3, turn (16dc)
Rows 2-6: 16 dc across, ch 3, turn. Fasten off after row 6. Make two.

Front
Row 1: sc around all four edges, decreasing 3 sts into 1 sc on corners, ch 3.
Row 2: *skip 1 st, dc in next 3 sts. Repeat from * around decreasing
corner 3 sts into 1 dc, ch 1.
Row 3: sc in ea st around. Fasten off.

Box
Place box inside and cut out around opening. Cut cardboard shelves
and glue or tape inside box.

Door
Repeat pattern for long sides, rows 1-8 (8 rows insted of 20). Stitch
door to refrigerator along one long corner only. Sew velcro on to keep
door closed.

Materials: Crochet Hook size H
6 oz. soft white 4-ply yarn
5" X 12" shoe Box-4" high without lid
Yarn needle

Top
Row 1: Ch 45, dc in4th ch from hook and next 41 chs, ch 3, turn.
Row 2-23: 43 dc across, ch 3, turn. Fasten off after row 23.

Bottom
Row 1: Ch 20, dc in 4th ch from hook and next 16 chs, ch 3, turn.
Rows 2-37: 18 dc across, ch 3 turn. Fasten off after row 37.
Place the top iece over bottom of box- it will hang down-and cover the long
sides of the box. Stitch top & bottom together with yarn needle and
yarn. Be sure to place box inside before you close all the seams.

Pillow
Materials: Crochet hook H
1 oz soft white yarn
1 oz soft pink yarn
Stuffing

Row 1: with white yarn, ch 13, sc in second ch from hook and next 11
chains, ch 1, turn (12 sc)
Rows 2-10: Crochet entire pillow in back loop only-12 sc across, ch 1
turn. Fasten off after row 10.
Make two.
With pink yarn, sc these two pieces together, 3 sc on each corner,
stuff before closing, join, ch 3.

Ruffle
2 dc in each st around, 3 dc on corners, join, fasten off.

BEDSPREAD
Materials: Crochet Hook Size H
3 oz soft pink 4-ply yarn
1 oz. soft white 4-ply yarn

Row 1: ch 36, sc in second ch from hook, *dc next ch, sc next ch.
Repeat *across, ch 3 (counts as first dc next row), turn
Row 2: *sc over ea dc st of row 1, dc over ea sc st of row 1. Repeat
from * across. ch 1, turn.
Row 3:*dc next st, sc next st. Repeat from * across, Ch 3, turn.
Row 4-?: Repeat row 2, then 3 alternately until it measures 15 " long,
then fasten off.

Fringe
Cut enough 2" pieces to goaround bedspread, making half of them pink,
half white. Fold one piece in half, slip folded end thru st along
edge using crochet hook, pull cut ends thru loop and pull tight.
Alternating pink and white yarn, repeat around two long sides and
one short end. The end without fringer is the top, it goes under the
pillow.
